Rating: - Best rechargeable batteries ever.
Simply put, "hybrid" NiMH rechargeable batteries, such as these Duracells, are the best rechargeable batteries ever created. These batteries will last a long time in demanding uses like a digital camera, yet have a long shelf like so they won't be dead every time you pull them out if you only use your devices infrequently. I've used the AAA and AA sizes and both work just as well. My Energizer 15 minute charger has no problem recharging these batteries in under 15 minutes. If you go through a ... Read More
Rating: - Performers!
These batteries are great. They hold their charge up to a year and they perform well in high drain devices. My one gripe is the price. I am not sure they really save people much money considering that they only last about three years total and regular AAA bats are soooo much less expensive.

Pros:
-For a rechargeable battery, these batteries does not need to be charged before you use it for the first time; right from the packaging into your gadgets.
-They last a long time. I use it on my portable speakers which has been playing in loud volume for many weeks.
-Does not need special charger. You can use your existing NiMh charger.

My husband is using these batteries on his model train remotes. He says they last very long before having to be recharged. Longer than regular rechargeable batteries.

I was only half-right when I boldly proclaimed that "Duracell Pre Charged AAA are rebranded Sanyo eneloop cells" in my original review. It turns out that the first batch of Duracell AAA cells I bought from Amazon are made in Japan, and those are identical to eneloop (both mechanically and electrically). But lately I bought some more Duracell AAA from a warehouse club. Those are made in China, and they are identical to the Rayovac Hybrid (see my scan in the Customer Images section). ... Read More
