I ordered a three DVD set by Peggy Cappy after reading the reviews, and Back Care Basics was one of them. I'm extremely glad I did. I've had constant lower back pain for a couple of years and had to sit down often to give my back a break. After doing the first 2 segments of the DVD - restorative poses and the stretches laying on your back - for a few days I noticed much less back pain. The quality of this production is excellent, but it is the quality of the yoga instruction and the program with Peggy Cappy that are outstanding. The poses, the pacing, the demonstrations and the voiced instruction are excellent. It is clear, uncluttered and focused. I've studied dance, pilates, yoga, horseback ride & have a physically-demanding job. I've studied with a variety of teachers & professionals over the years, and have a pretty good sense of safe stretching & working one's body. Like most yoga DVD's & tapes, this one is appropriately slowly-paced (which always seems annoying after time).
