I received these as a gift, after sending my husband a link. My diamond studs are 1/2 ct. each for a total weight of 1 carat for the pair. These jackets are listed for 1/2 carat stud earrings. My studs sit just on the top of the jackets, giving them a "high profile" appearance. Also, my studs have very long posts with screw backs. I think the ones I got are at least I color, I1, not I2! I really like them but I ordered them to see if they would fit my 3/4cttw studs, even though the description says they fit 1/2cttw studs...well they don't state total weight, but thats what they mean. My studs stick out of the jackets, when the stud should fit all the way in the center of the jacket, so my search continues! Good luck to whoever gets these for their 1/2 cttw studs, they're nice!

I like the jackets just fine, but I made a mistake in ordering them. I did not realize that 1/2 carat meant 1/4th carat each side, my studs are 1/2 carat each side and the jackets do not fit them well. don't make that same mistake!
