A full two days after my daughter started using this lock her locker was broken into. The lock was still intact and not broken. It was hacked using an aluminum can. This lock works great for honest people not for people hoping for security with dishonest kids in middle school. Of course the regular combination locks get hacked with the same aluminum can trick.
Rating: - TERRIBLE
Couldnt set the lock, couldnt lock the lock. Wheels were very hard to turn. Nothing good about this lock!
Rating: - Great idea for locks
This is such a great idea that I can't believe it hasn't happened before. It is SO much easier to remember a word than a number (whose birthday?). And the colors are not only cute, but help distinguish the locks. The letters seem to accommodate just about whatever word you want. I have one on my shed and one on my fence and a little one for my luggage. Now I see there is one for my bike. They will be great for the kids' bikes, since kids can remember words more easily than numbers, too!
