The Homedics brethe air revitalizer is designed to be used with one of Homedics' specially formulated brethe botanical solutions. This refill solution emulsifies when added into the water of the brethe air revitalizer, naturally killing up to 99 percent of odor causing bacteria. The active ingredients in brethe botanical solution are derived from 100 percent natural botanical extracts with Energizing Lime scent. It is environmentally safe, non-toxic, non-pollutant, non-flammable, biodegradable and alcohol-free. This botanical solution is safe for all rooms in the home or office, and is not harmful to your beloved pets. While the wonderful Energizing Lime fragrance will last up to six hours, the deodorizing, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal properties will continue for up to 24 hours! Good scent! Nice and citrusy, not a big fan of the lavender but citrus and lime are both good.

The machine does work great, but the the aromas are not at all as promised.

This air revitalizer solution works w/ the Brethe air revitalizing machine & it is the best & most economic air freshner for the price .
You can get it in lime, citrus, vanilla, & lavender. I personally like the lime best & it lasts pretty much most of the day unlike all the sprays that are gone within minutes after spraying ! I liked my Homedics Breathe, but I was turned off by the fragrances that came with the unit. Having spent a lot of $$$ in humidifiers/ozone/air purifiers & co., I decided to test the use of this relatively inexpensive machine, using a different fragrance (even if the instructions specifically forbid this). Worst case scenario, I figured, I've thrown $50 down the drain (surely not for the last time!)

Rating: - takes away odors
So far I have tried every scent for my Brethe Air Revitalizer and this one has to be my favorite. It masks any odors that my house might have. Living with 17 companions this makes a great addition to my home. I can't imagine living with out it.
