Product Description:
Zurn has changed the look of this Manifold. The new style has the thermometer in the ball valve and the vent assembly at the end. They both have the same features. You will receive one of the styles pictured above. The Zurn Preassembled Radiant Heating Manifold is the smart choice for controling the fluid distribution in a hydronic Radiant Heating System. It's designed for easy filling, purging, isolation and zoning. It provides constant access to supply and return fluid temperatures and individual loop flow rates. To divide the loops into zones the Installer can replace the Return port valve handles with Zone actuators(QHMBMVDS - Sold Separately). The Supply and Return ports can accept 3/8', 1/2', 5/8' or 3/4' Zurn pex tubing by attaching the appropriate tubing to manifold connectors. This Manifold requires 4 pairs of QHMMC tubing to manifold connectors. (NONE ARE INCLUDED, THEY ARE SOLD SEPARATELY). (QHMMC2= pair, 3/8'manifold connectors),(QHMMC3= pair, 1/2'manifold connectors),(QHMMCJ= pair, 5/8'manifold connectors),(QHMMC4= pair, 3/4'manifold connectors). The GPM flow rate can be adjusted at each supply port by removing the front plastic cap and turning the internal screw with the allen wrench provided. Once you have the flow rate set you can use the other end of the allen wrench to tighten the outer ring against the allen screw so if you ever need to close the valve completely, you can quickly return the allen screw to it's previous position by backing it out until it touches the outer ring.
