Rating: - Excellent, inexpensive half-chaps!
I typically ride in tall boots, however I needed something with a little more elasticity in the calf. These chaps are perfect. They still provide great support of my leg while riding. Plus they are so easy to clean. I just brush them off when I'm done. They are machine washable, though I haven't had to wash them yet. I'm happy with them!
Rating: - leg protection
I was switching from English to Western style. The leather/suede over-pants half-chaps I had used didn't fully protect my shin from the western saddle fenders so I bought western boots. But then the chaps didn't go over those boots. I bought this product to fit inside the boot and inside the pants to give a complete Western outfit image and it does the job beautifully. Rating: - Nice quality for the money
I recently purchased the Dublin Synthetic Easy Care Adult Half Chaps (in black, but they also come in brown, and fun colors purple and fuschia)and I have found them to be well-made, and a good value for a student or occasional rider who doesn't have a lot of money to spend on equipment, but does want the lower-leg protection a pair of half-chaps will provide. After months of use these chaps are doing great. Good value for the money. They also breathe well which is great for hot weather riding. Glad I bought them.
