Buck Knives 284BK Bantam TM BBW is the small entry into Buck's popular Bantam Series. It is a small, lightweight, mid-lockback pocket knife. It features a 2-3/4' drop point 420HC stainless steel blade with a one hand opening thumb stud. It is 3-3/4' long closed and weighs 1.5 oz. The Small Bantam features a textured thermoplastic handle, with a contoured finger groove and grip ridges at the front of the handle for an extra secure grip. It also sports a lanyard hole for different carry options, and as with all Buck Knives, features Buck's 4-Ever Unconditional Lifetime Warranty.

I was taken back by the size of the Bantam, it is a little small, and it is made in China. But this knife shows no sign of inferior craftsmanship. It came to me razor sharp, and for the price this throw-away is a perfect everyday knife for rugged purposes. I took it out camping with me and carved shotgun slugs out of a tree, cooked and ate steaks with it (Not in that order, of course), I cut and honed branches, turned screws, have pounded it into stumps, and cut open innumerable packages with this ... Rating:  - Very nice little pocket knife
This is a great pocket knife. It comes sharp and stays pretty sharp. This replaced a Ka Bar folding dozier knife I lost. And although the handle on this little guy doesn't feel as sturdy, its small size and and nice blade more than make up for it.
You can keep it in your pocket and forget it's there. I would definitely recommend it. Especially for the price.

Just right for your pocket, not to big or small and VERY light.
Well made, locks up solid easy to open and close. I would have
loved a real wood handle but that would make it more costly and
not as light. Just a great value.
Rating: - Inexpensive but sharp
Straightforward knife that is about as big as you would want to go in your pocket. The one hand open is smooth and works well. Lock open is solid. You will likely want to use both hands to close.
This knife is sharp! Eats through cardboard and packing tape. Not for the extra clumsy as I have drawn blood twice with very light pressure (once with the point and once with the edge).

Glad I picked it up. Razor sharp out of the box. The handle has a spot for your index finger. It is hard plastic, but has a nice texture. Pick up a bunch and put one in your glove box. Great knife for the price.
