Rating: - Best Kung Fu shoes I know...
I love these shoes. I do a lot of pivoting on my feet and this rubber holds up pretty darn well. The rubber curls up a little on the sides which is nice for kicking so you don't hurt anyone too much. If you are a half size I would get the next size up. I got the smaller size and used them for a long time but then started getting an ingrown toenail. Once I realized it was these shoes I ordered a larger pair and haven't had a problem since.

As others have said, they are quite light. For me they fit perfectly, but I have wider feet.
My main complaint would be that the soles do have a roundness to them as other reviewers have mentioned. Standing on one foot (as we do often in taijiquan) is more challenging than with shoes of other types, and it feels like your contact with the ground is quite narrow (even, as I mentioned above, having wider feet).
