I purchased this instrument for my son who has enjoyed playing it tremendously. We are now looking for a 2nd one for our other son. The boys get great joy out of playing it at rest homes and church events. The instrument is easy enough for them to play and to sing a long with. I do agree with the comments about it being a bit tricky to tune, but with patience it works and it does hold being tuned very well. We bought a lap harp for our home use when we were in Tennessee years ago. Our grandchildren love to use it when they are here so we wanted to get one as a birthday gift for a grandchild. I ran across a lady who had one of these and could not tune it. I brought it home to tune for her. My husband picked it up, along with one of the song sheets and played a song. He has always liked the thought of playing music, but never been able to. He liked that one so much that we ordered one for him. Rating: - Easier to play than to tune!
This little lap harp does what it says it will do:
that is, let you play with ease the song cards provided.
Using the tuning key is a but trickier, but possible with practice.
It would not be too hard to create your own song cards
for other music once you see the format of the cards included.
