This was one of the best-selling Christmas records of the 1960s, and with good cause! Somehow, without the fatherly image of Bing Crosby, or the svelte croon of Frank Sinatra or Tony Bennett, or even the reverent innocence of Perry Como, Andy Williams managed to make a holiday institution! This collection of Christmas songs is full of standards normally identified with other artists, but armed with an average tenor and lots of exuberance, Andy Williams made them his own. His 'It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year' is the most exhilarating version of the song there is, and even his 'White Christmas' and 'O Holy Night' are more than just passable. This is not only Williams's best Christmas collection, this is one that should be in every holiday music collection. --Steve Gdula

The Andy Williams Christmas cd is a wonderful holiday music selection.
It was well packaged and arrived within an acceptable time frame. I would purchase other cds from Amazon.

If you love Andy Williams in his heyday, you will love this album. Every song is top quality. I previously bought a Christmas album of his, not realizing it was recorded about ten years ago, and sadly he just didn't sound that good - he couldn't carry the notes at the end of each line, his voice was weaker ... this Christmas album is the way I always remembered him and I love it!

Glad to find this one, the old LP is all scratched up and I'm afraid wouldn't be the best sound quality if converted.

Just hearing Andy Willimas sing"Happy Holiday,The holidaySeason"brings back such great times.I think of my Grandparents,decorating there CHRISTmas tree,and looking forward for Andy's yearly CHRISTmas show.
My favorite track is "O Holy Night." There's not to many singers that can top Andys version.
You are going to love the CD .

I usually buy 5 or 6 Christmas albums per year. Sometimes its a new release, while other times it may be a collection from my youth. This year, I picked up records from Kristin Chenoweth, James Taylor, Randy Travis, Ray Conniff, Herb Alpert, and this one. This CD has been out for 4 years, and after listening to it, I'm mad that I waited this long to get it.
